Hi baby bear,
we went to the zoo this weekend... you already know the zoo is one of my favourite places... i was sad to see all the little families walking around and I could see dad's face looking a bit sad too.. we missed you so much.. I know you would have liked the zoo..
the sun bears (the only bears left at the zoo) were having a great old time and i sat there and watched them for ages.. i think they and maybe the giraffes would have been your favourites.. i took these photos of the little sun bear playing and it reminded me of you and how you might have giggled in awe had you seen it.

I hope Matilda is playing with bears and giraffes with all of our babies. :)
ReplyDeleteThe last time I went to the zoo, I took Brodie (who wasn't walking yet) and was pregnant with Bailey, so I felt a little exhausted, but was also dreaming of when I would take my two little ones together. I remember that day like it was yesterday, the excitement I felt to be sharing the zoo with Brodie and carrying a precious little one, who will never see the zoo with us.
